
Refund Policy
Refund and Cancellation are all subject to the following terms and conditions:
Important Note:
All refund requests must be submitted via official email (info@mis-academy.com), stating the reason for cancellation. Refunds will only be considered if the reason provided is deemed valid under our Terms and Conditions (HERE)
1. Customer must present proof of registration and proof payment was debited from their mode of payment.
2. You may be asked to provide personal details and bank details for refund or debit note purpose, these details will remain confidential.
3. You will be asked from these 2 options, (1) if you would prefer a credit note with the full paid amount which then can be used on any of your next course or congress purchase with MIS Academy OR (2) a refund on the paid amount subject to terms and conditions as below.
4. Online purchases, refunds or exchanges will not include the cost of bank charges, VAT and other fees accumulated during the time of online payment.
5. Free cancellation until 14 days before the course/training date (time shown in the confirmation email).
6. For a full refund of the amount paid, the cancellation request must send minimum of 14 days before the course/training date (time shown in the confirmation email).
7. If the cancelation request received less than 14 days before the course/training date (time shown in the confirmation email), 50% of the amount will be charge to the customer.
8. Notice of any cancellation must be received in writing, and any fee posted is payable by the customer no later than 14 days after being invoiced.
9. If the refund has been pre-approved, please note that a mandatory 5% bank processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount in accordance with our payment and refund policy.
10. Refunds are calculated on the amount excluding VAT. VAT is non-refundable, and another 5% will be deducted from the refundable amount apart from the 5% bank processing fee.
11. Total of 10% deductible of the bank processing fee and 5% Vat amount.
12. The refund will be initiated upon confirmation and processed back to the original payment method (online) used during your registration. You can expect the amount to be reflected in your account within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank’s processing timeline.
13. For an event of “Force Majeure” both the customer and organizer are exonerated of all liability for total amount being rendered, the organizer will provide the option of Credit Note or Total Refund of the amount paid.
14. MIS Academy may determine that a refund can be issued without requiring a return. If you are not required to send your item back for a refund, you will be notified in your contact details or by a Customer Service Associate of MIS Academy.
15. Your refund issued may differ based on the condition of the item or the course, how long you have had the item or the course and how it was purchased.
16. If we decide to issue refund credits to your account, they will be automatically applied towards your next course purchase on our website, but can’t be used for purchases in the same day of our on-site courses. Refund credits may expire if not used within the specified period, and have no cash value.
17. At our discretion, if we believe you are abusing our refund policy, such as if you’ve consumed a significant portion of a course that you want to refund or if you’ve previously refunded a course, we reserve the right to deny your refund, ban your account, and/or restrict all future use of the Services. If we ban your account or disable your access to a course due to your violation of these Terms, you will not be eligible to receive a refund.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
* Unfortunately, we cannot accept refund on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
